Restructuring of Office Building

Demolition and structural renovation work are one the areas of expertise for Eurocon Construction International. A staff with specialized training in historic building reinforcing and restructuring procedures works. In this subject, we are proficient in many different skills, such as the following methods:

  • Underpinning (tertiary structures and housing).
  • Structural and aesthetic demolitions, stripping
  • Sawing of concrete on floors and walls
  • Reinforcement of the floor by installing irons
  • Collaborating floor in existing building
  • Stairwell and elevator creation
  • Repair of concrete spalling with resin and mortar
  • Structure reinforcement by gluing carbon slats
  • Building restructuring is one of our specialisation. When talk about restructuring, it is necessary to stress one point: restructuring doesn’t mean carrying out maintenance interventions (ordinary or extraordinary) nor conservation restoration work. Restructuring means rethinking about everything that exists in all its parts, with the aim of modifying its shape, its surface and often its use. In the restructuring intervention a useless part may be destroyed or a portion of the property may be fully rebuilt. Sometimes our interventions aim at returning its original beauty to a building or to an apartment. This operation sometimes may require the destruction of some parts or areas which are not contemporary to the construction period. These parts are then reconstructed and they rediscover their initial beauty.

In other instances, the goal of our restructuring efforts is to restore equilibrium between the timeless elegance and the practicality of certain contemporary solutions. Our constant objectives are preservation and adherence to the original project. At Formento, we make an effort to operate in a less invasive way when we are reorganizing. Our goal is to preserve structures exactly as they were when they were constructed. Our creations are self-explanatory. An overview of the major projects we have worked on over the past few years is provided in this section.
